About this website

This website shows the work of Fer Forger Living, the wrought iron workshop of Amine Issa in Douma, North Lebanon, and lets you ask for a quote. You cannot buy or pay on the website itself. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Quotes and orders

Quotes are free. Every piece is priced on its size, design and finish, so there is no fixed price list and the prices or ideas you see on the website are not offers.

An order exists only when you and the workshop have both confirmed the details, normally in a WhatsApp conversation: what will be made, its size, finish and quantity, the price, delivery, and how and when payment is made. Please check the confirmed details carefully before work begins. Anything not agreed in writing, including by message, is not part of the order.

Handmade, made to order

Each piece is forged and finished by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Small differences in dimensions, scrollwork, welds and finish from the photos, drawings or samples you were shown are a normal result of handmade work, not a fault. Photos on this website show examples of our work or of the craft in general. Colors can look different on different screens.

Your designs and photos

If you send us a sketch, photo or reference, you confirm that you are free to share it with us. We may decline a request, for example one that copies another maker’s protected design.

Delivery and installation

We deliver and install all over Lebanon. Delivery and installation cost, timing and access requirements are agreed with your quote. Please tell us about stairs, narrow access or anything else that may affect delivery.

Changes and cancellations

Because every piece is made specially for you, work starts only after the order is confirmed. If you want to change or cancel an order, tell us as early as possible. Changes may affect the price and the delivery time, and once material has been bought and work has started, we may not be able to cancel or may ask you to pay for the work already done. This will be as agreed when the order is confirmed.

If something is wrong

If a piece arrives damaged or is not what was agreed, contact us as soon as you can on WhatsApp with photos so we can sort it out with you. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under Lebanese consumer law.

Content on this website

The text, design and workshop photographs on this website belong to Fer Forger Living, or are used with permission or under licence. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking. Some stock photographs remain subject to their own licence terms.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it is always up to date, error-free or uninterrupted. It is provided as it is. Information on it is general and does not replace what we agree with you for your order.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from links to other websites, which we do not control. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under Lebanese law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Orders are governed by the terms and confirmed details agreed at the time they were placed.
