Fer Forger is the wrought iron workshop of master blacksmith Amine Issa, working iron in the mountain village of Douma, North Lebanon, since 1985.
Who is Amine Issa?
Amine Issa is a Lebanese master blacksmith and the founder of Fer Forger. He has shaped wrought iron in Douma for more than forty years, starting with traditional ironwork and building a reputation for ornate, hand-scrolled designs that are rare to find in Lebanon today.
Every piece that leaves the workshop is made under his hand: drawn full size, cut, heated, bent, welded and finished. Today the workshop focuses on furniture and made-to-order ironwork: beds, fences, doors, pergolas, windows, chairs, tables, benches, chimney accessories and outdoor pieces for homes, gardens and terraces across the country, built to each client's order and need.
