Who we are

This website belongs to Fer Forger Living, the wrought iron workshop of Amine Issa in Douma, North Lebanon. We make furniture and ironwork to order. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the workshop.

What this website collects

Very little. The website has no accounts, no online checkout, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. It does not set cookies and does not store anything about you in your browser, and it loads no third-party scripts or fonts.

Like any website, the server that hosts it automatically records basic technical data when a page is requested, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use it to identify you.

What you choose to send us

When you ask for a quote or place an order, you give us information yourself, by WhatsApp, phone call or Instagram message, or through the custom order form. This can include:

• your name and phone number;
• a description of what you want made, plus any sizes, finish, quantity, photos or sketches you send;
• your delivery area or address, if we deliver to you.

The custom order form does not send your details to our website or to any server. When you press the button, it writes your answers into a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp so that you can read it and send it. Nothing reaches us until you send it yourself.

How we use it

We use your details only to answer you, prepare a quote, make and deliver your piece, and arrange payment and any follow-up. We do not sell your information, we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them, and we share your details with a third party only when it is needed to complete your order, for example a delivery driver who needs your address.

Other companies you may meet

Contacting us through WhatsApp or Instagram means using services run by Meta, under Meta’s own terms and privacy policies. Our “Douma, North Lebanon” link opens Google Maps. These services handle your data themselves and we do not control them. Phone calls go through your own mobile operator.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages and order details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry or order and for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time, and we will unless we need to keep something for a legal or accounting reason.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will answer as soon as we reasonably can. We aim to handle personal data in line with Lebanese law, including Law No. 81/2018 on electronic transactions and personal data.

Children

This website is for people ordering furniture and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if we add analytics or a contact form that sends data to a server, we will update this page and its date first.
